Problem Note 38084: SAS Stored Process portlet fails when using DBCS characters in a prompt value

The SAS Stored Process portlet fails when you attempt to enter a DBCS value for a prompt. Although the properties of the portlet are saved, the portlet will fail with an error similar to the following when you attempt to view it:

Critical TK Kernal error
STP: Parameter 'XXXXXX' contains characters that cannot be 
processed by the SAS server( xxxxx encoding ).
